Founded in 1969 by Serafim Silva and José Francisco Garcia, GARCIA & SILVA is a family-owned textile company based in Guimarães, specializing in private label socks and tights for international brands.

For over 50 years, and now in its third generation, the company has grown steadily by investing in the modernization of its own knitting and confection facilities, in the selection of certified raw materials and suppliers (OEKO-TEX®, GOTS, among others), and in the implementation of measures that promote balanced working conditions, reflecting a responsible vision oriented towards a sustainable future.

As a vertically integrated company, GARCIA & SILVA manages in-house the main stages of the production process — knitting, confection, accessories, finishing, packing, warehousing, and distribution — supported by a specialized team across Commercial, Development, Finance, Planning and Production, Quality, and Logistics departments, in close partnership with clients.
